This new jam we made is really good, but it’s still only the second-best jam ever. The number one BEST jam ever is the same as this one, but with figs instead of strawberries. But since we got an insane amount of strawberries at the fish market and had to deal with them before they all turned to mush, we made jam and decided to tweak our favorite recipe.
It’s very tasty, and I am still so in love with the idea of making jam spicy with a bit of chili. And with the strawberries, it’s a fresh, summery taste.
Plus, doing it double-decker style makes for a pretty mix of colors and flavors! Makes me wonder why more companies don’t do this.
