The rest of our Christmas tree

We took down the Christmas tree this weekend. We had one last breakfast by the tree on Saturday morning, and I have to admit: I cried. (Pregnancy hormones!)

Since it was so dry, the branches just snapped off. Tobias decided it would be awesome to burn (and will probably smell really good!) so we broke off a trash bag full’s worth of branches and this is what it looked like afterward:

Poor tree. Looks quite funny and sad!

We then spent the rest of the weekend cleaning up — getting rid of things, simplifying, taking out the recycling. Sometimes it feels brutal getting rid of things, but afterward it feels so good!
