Curlicues

We had a simple pesto pasta the other day when hunger struck and we didn’t have much food in the house. Luckily, however, we had fresh parmesan to put on top. Parmesan always makes pasta better! Actually, I am of the opinion that cheese makes most things better – well, except for desserts or cereal or beverages – and I can’t wait to start eating delicious cheeses again post-pregnancy! Between a dry red wine and a good, creamy camembert, I’m not sure which one I’m looking forward to more!

Anyway, I loved the way that this freshly grated parmesan came out looking like delicate little curlicues. The parmesan grater I got Tobias for Christmas is awesome! (similar one here)

It’s the small pleasures.
